Every class has a drama class once a week with our Drama teacher Jaymie Galvin. The drama lessons work alongside the primary curriculum incorporating oral language, history, geography, music, art, SPHE and PE, as well as developing drama skills such as mime, poetry, music and movement, social skills, script work, public speaking etc.
Over the eight years the students gain confidence, learn new skills and develop their talents in a fun and friendly environment through lots of games. The highlight of the year are the shows held at Christmas time by Junior infants and 4th class and the end of year 6th class show held in June.
After school drama classes are also available.
